Thoughts#

The two-week-long Olympics has come to an end. This summer, which belongs to sports enthusiasts, has bid me farewell.
This was an extraordinary Olympics, so different from the others. It faced constant questioning and opposition. It was also the only Olympics without spectators, and it could have been canceled at any moment, even while it was ongoing.
But no matter what, this global sports event was successfully completed. Over the course of two weeks, athletes left behind many touching stories and exhilarating moments. As for me, I would check the news and watch important matches every day. The Olympics was the main theme of my past two weeks. When Su Bingtian ran 9.83 seconds in the semifinals, my body couldn't help but tremble. Once again, an East Asian person made history at the Olympics. However, I also can't forget the sight of Japan's Keisuke Honda lying on the ground in tears after being eliminated by Mexico in the semifinals. And of course, there's Ma Long, who won three consecutive Olympic championships and became the undisputed GOAT in table tennis history.

This is one side of the Olympics that I saw, and like most people, I only focused on the exciting matches and my favorite athletes. But of course, the Olympics is not just one-sided. That is precisely what this documentary wants to tell us.
