Thoughts#
The two-week Olympics have come to an end. This summer, which belongs to sports fans, has also waved goodbye to me.
This was an extraordinary Olympics, so different from any other. It faced much skepticism, with voices opposing its hosting rising and falling. It was also the only Olympics without spectators, and even during the event, it could have been canceled at any moment.
But regardless, this global sporting event was successfully completed. During these two weeks, athletes left many touching stories and uplifting moments. For me, I watched related news and important matches every day. The Olympics was the main theme of my last two weeks. When Su Bingtian ran 9″83 in the semifinals, my body trembled involuntarily. A person of Asian descent made history again at the Olympics. However, I also cannot forget how Takefusa Kubo cried on the ground after Japan was eliminated by Mexico in the semifinals. Of course, there’s also Ma Long, who became the undisputed GOAT in table tennis history with three consecutive Olympic championships.
This is one side of the Olympics that I saw, just like most people, only focusing on the exciting matches and my favorite athletes. Of course, the Olympics is not just one-sided. This is exactly what this documentary aims to convey to us.
